What is M.O.M.S  you ask?

MOMS - 'Moms Offering Moms Support' is a Ministry that brings moms together to rejuvenate themselves, share in life experiences and learn about God. We offer two terms per year (Fall and Winter/Spring) and there are 10 sessions per term.  Childcare is provided for children up to age 6 and you can relax with a cup of coffee and brunch knowing that your children are having fun and learning with our Guardian Angels. 

Once you have kids, craziness becomes the only constant in life... it just changes as our lives grow.  In a welcome (and well needed) break from the craziness, we provide support and encouragement to moms in an environment where they can feel loved, cared for and know that they are never alone.  Engaging speakers and videos each week will guide moms as they connect with each other and grow in their Faith.

To reach moms in the community and provide them with a ministry where they can hear the gospel of Christ, while providing support to them and equipping them to have an audacious, authentic and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

• Finding - to provide a Ministry where mothers in our community can hear the gospel in a comfortable and non-threatening environment.
• Caring - to provide support and encouragement to moms raising their children.
• Maturing - to move moms to become serious followers of Jesus Christ. 
• Community - A place where women who come feel loved and cared for and know that they are not alone.
• Leading - A Place where women can grow in their Faith and develop leadership skills.
• Sending - A place where women are taught to intentionally and generously engage the world that is right in front of them. 

Philosophy and Core Values:  What is important to us.

1. To affirm our participants as individuals, being sure to include teachings and features that specifically minister to them as women (the common thread between us; we must remember that first and foremost we are women and daughters of our Heavenly Father). 
2. To empower moms to never give up their relationship with God and their vital relationships with their children.
3. To enhance and emphasize our roles as mothers through a person relationship with Christ.
4. To provide a "time out" for moms through fun (crafts, games, prizes) and interaction (building relationships).
5. To equip women for ministry (i.e. MOMS Ministry, care groups, table leader or Leadership Team).  To provide opportunities to grow in Christ likeness and prepare them for purposeful service.
6. To provide childcare that not only "baby-sits" but teaches Bible truths and shows genuine love and concern for the children.

For the MOMS Leadership Team to prayerfully support and encourage each other as we seek God's direction in planning and implementing the MOMS terms (spring and fall) as well as special events while following the guidelines set forth in the MOMS Ministry Mission Statement.
